Indiana Child Support Law Change

Effective July 1, 2012, Indiana's child support law will change. The age of emancipation will be lowered from 21 to 19 years of age. While child support will terminate at 19, education support orders for college costs will continue to be available by petition. Each situation is different. We recommend contacting an attorney for legal advice prior to ceasing or reducing the amount of child support that you are currently paying.
